Windows XP Personal Firewall

Windows XP includes Internet Connection Firewall (ICF) software you can use to control what information reaches your computer from outside networks and the Internet.

To enable the Internet Connection Firewall (ICF) software in Windows XP:

  1. Open the Control Panel, then select Network Connections.

  2. Right-click the appropriate connection.

  3. Select Properties, then select the Advanced tab.

  4. Select the Internet Connection Firewall checkbox.
