Creating a Non-Administrative Account: Macintosh OS X

To create a non-administrative account:

  1. On the Apple menu, select System Preferences.

  2. On System, click the Accounts icon.

  3. Click the New User button.

  4. On the Identity tab, enter a user name in the Name textbox.

  5. On the Password tab, enter your password and verify.

  6. Uncheck allow user to administer this computer checkbox, then click OK.
